Abstract:

Founded in 2000, by 2007 the Biotech tropicana Systems achieve international scientific recognition of its work though international scientific peer review publications. The first priority project then focused on innovations of HIV surveillance biotechnologies adapted to the conditions of the developing world. By 2010 the Biotech tropicana Systems initiated an expansion program to other areas of biotechnologies. To a surprise to the founders themselves, any where we expand to becomes a pole of attraction and of great interest to various classes of society.  We are forced to set security borders and put access visas to protect our work sites. The Biotech tropicana Systems are a knowledge driven institution.  Here, we discuss the role of knowledge on the attraction power of the Biotech tropicana Systems.

When we select a site that is of no interest to anyone for decades, we add a value to the site by applying knowledge in our concepts, the site becomes a pole attraction.  We expand to another site with the same characteristics  of no interest to anyone , we raise the value of the site and the site becomes another pole of attraction. We close a site that we previously  transforms into a pole of attraction, and the site looses its attraction potential.
