Background:

From 2000 to 2010, we executed a first decade development plan of the Biotech tropicana Systems.

The first decade agenda focused on establishing a Biotech incubator with a capacity to handle the nurturing of 100 start up Biotech companies in parallele, from any point on the globe. We design the Biotech tropicana System according to the « center to global » approach, coordinated from the United States Corporate headquater. For guidance we relied on global development principles established in the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (UN MDG), and the United States Millennium Challenge Corporation (US MCC). [http://btropicanaforum.ucoz.com/publ/biotech_tropicana_journal_article_6/1-1-0-4 ].

Activities in the Biotech tropicana Systems are organized in value chain networks, using Porter’s value chain framework for guidance. We previously discussed the structure-function relationship of components of the Biotech tropicana Systems. [http://btropicanaforum.ucoz.com/publ/biotech_tropicana_journal_1_2_5_2010/1-1-0-20 ]

Here, we describe an outline of general objectives of the second decade agenda of the Biotech tropicana Systems.

Description :

Three major activities are operated in the Biotech tropicana Systems : promotion, application, and development, of biotechnologies adapted to the needs of the developing world. the first decade agenda creates the structural framework to support these activities.

The second decade agenda aims 1) to expand the structural framework of the system on a global scale, and 2) reinforce the sructural components of the system. To Achieve these objectives, we will continue working according to principles established in porter’s value chain system, that proved to be very efficient in our first decade develoment strategy. Expansion activities will therefore be operated in three major areas, inbound logistcs, outbound logistics, ans support.

Inbound Logistics :

The Corporate headquater in the United States will be incorporated to provide it with the administrative and legal tools it needs, to perform its coordination activities. At least one (1) EXPLORER unit will be incorporated on each continent to improve our data harnessing capabilities, for technology design and development. Specific activities of each Explorer unit will be defined on need basis. FACILITATOR units will be incorporated selectively on need basis , particularly in emerging economy countries, such as Brazil, india, and South Africa. Activities of the FACILITATOR units include technical support, and other applications related activities. Topic oriented units of the Biotech tropicana,IncGROUP such as Biotech tropicana,IncHEALTH, Biotech tropicana,IncFOOD, Biotech tropicana,IncENVIRONMENT, Biotech tropicana,IncENERGY, and Biotech tropicana,IncFORENSICS, will be progressively incorporated as the projects in progress in each topic established the proof of concept. Development and manufacturing activities will be concontrated in the United States, and coordinated from the United States headquater. Additional development and manufacturing units may be sitted abroad as directed by Porter’s «added value » principles.

The Biotech tropicana Journal project is ready for move to phase 3, as an independent unit of te Biotech tropicana Systems to carry out promotion activities. Translation softwares to multiple languages are being explored for suitability. Paper printed versions will be issued for commercialization, along with the electronic versions. At least three operating centres will be sitted on different continents.

The technology development funding framework will be diversified to improve our competitiveness and adaptability, in a constantly changing technology environment. In addition to grants, framework for loans and venture capitals will be expanded.

Outbound Logistics :

Framework for products and service delivery will remain focus on modular value chains, using codified systems such as the US ORCA, the US Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and the NATO business Codification System. Windows to plug in Asian, and Australian Codification Systems are being explored, for expansion. Framework for relational and captive value chains will be progressively expanded, on need basis.

Support:

The United States corporate headquater coordinates all support activities.

Philosophy:

From a philosophy perspective, work in the Biotech tropicana Systems will always be guided by the principles of the compassionate capitalism. We aim to make profit by helping others to advance. In situations where profit becomes link to destruction, then the profit must go. No resource of the Biotech tropicana Systems shall be used to destroy others. In the biotech tropicana Systems, technology will be designed to contribute to ending developing world poverty traps, for a common good of mankind. Any resource of the Biotech tropicana Systems shall not be used in any activity that promotes poverty traps in short or long terms. Where our technologies are not applicable to breaking poverty traps, we must make sure that they are not being used to promote poverty traps. Sachs et al, previously discussed the structural reasons that promote poverty traps, in the developing world. [http://www.unmillenniumproject.org/documents/BPEAEndingAfricasPovertyTrapFINAL.pdf] Tactics of partisans of the « old way » are designed exactly to reinforce the structural reasons diagnosed as major factors that maintain and reinforce the poverty traps in the developing world. Here, we must make clear, that we will not nogotiate with partisans of the « old way ». The « old way » must die, along with its poverty traps, for the advancement of mankind.
